Southern Utah

Just got back from a mindblowing trip to Zion National Park and Arches National Park, with stops in between at Bryce Canyon, the Petrified Forest, and who knows what else. It was one of my longest trips ever, at 9 days (2 were travel days, so they didn’t count). We saw a lot of stuff, but there’s a LOT we didn’t get to. I’m aching to go back already. If you’ve never been — or even if you have — I highly recommend that it go on your bucket list.

For the photographers here, this is a  must-do. I didn’t even get much sunrise/sunset stuff, and I’m still pretty stoked with the photos I took with my little Canon point-and-shoot, and even with my iPhone. Even bad photos are impressive.

In fact, I’d be up for a Cadre trip there. Flying into Vegas and driving 4 hours to Zion is cheap, easy, and full of awesome scenery all by itself, even before you ever get into a national park. I’m thinking maybe the fall of 2013 or the spring of 2014…!

Most Funnest!

Some of you who aren’t on Google+ or don’t visit often…should take a look at Jeromy’s podcast. It is decidedly “most funnest.”
And for some of you “gothic cowboys” there’s a part you should pay close attention to :D
